Friends Vs Records approached me to help design the layout for their two Dinosaur Pile-Up releases. The band already had strong ideas and produced much of the artwork themselves. It was my job to turn this raw artwork into a marketable product. The result: Friends Vs Records best selling 7 inch releases to date.

The first Tournaments’ 7inch is presented in the form of a large A2-sized poster sleeve. Here my original artwork has been adapted to create an impressive fold-out poster from the sleeve of the single. Additional graphics and texture add further depth to the work. The bottom right of the poster forms the front of the 7inch sleeve and contains all the release information: song titles, copyright information, record label details etc. The layout of these details has been especially designed to ensure that once opened out to form a poster, they do not detract from the rest of the artwork.

Flyswatter is a weekly club night held in the Cardiff Barfly. The promotional flyer which I was commissioned to develop stands out from the myriad of other flyers distributed every night in the city that are all aiming to compete for the attention of potential patrons. The front of the flyer also forms the basis for several large posters hung in the venue and in other key locations in the city of Cardiff. This is the latest version of this flyer. There have been several different products in the past; a new one is commissioned every 6 months or so.

The website I Heart CDF is a personal project of mine. It is a listings and what’s on guide for the City of Cardiff. The name itself is based on the shorthand used by buses and coaches when entering the city. The logo is used on all manner of promotional materials from flyers to pin badges, posters and t-shirts. This logo was a collaborative effort with Ceri Jones.

Tournaments wanted a simple, almost naive logo style which could be adapted to perform various functions, the most important of which being that it could be easily modified for use as an ink stamp. Thus far this logo has been widely used for the branding of the band’s records and stationary and is a working example of an economical and environmentally sustainable means of successfully developing a brand identity.

I can highly recommend Rich Samuels for his web design services and would be happy to be contacted by anyone who wishes to discuss the service that I received.
Rich had a lovely positive attitude in our discussions and listened to my requirements. He is clearly extremely well informed in the field of website design, and if it can be done he will know how to do it. Fortunately for me he was also able to explain in a clear way how I can make changes to the website. I have no hesitation in making this recommendation.
I contacted Rich Samuels Graphic Design when setting up my photography business last year. Rich was quick to respond and made every effort to make himself available to my company. He offered to meet me for a consultation to discuss my needs.
Within a short period of time of time Rich presented me with some design ideas and a screen shot for a possible website. He was very open to suggestions and tailored his service to my exact requirements. After a few conversations my website was designed and ready to go. I sent over the contents for the site and it was uploaded and launched within no time.
A few weeks after the site was launched I approached Rich again to ask him to design me a business card. This was again done very quickly and made effortless on my part.
I would highly recommend the services of Rich Samuels Graphic Design to anyone. Ryder Cup accommodation
